Some Information About This Journal & Me
Some of you may have noticed I've been largely absent this week in this journal. Some of it is just because I'm working on some big stories, which I can't post in pieces, some of it is due to other issues.
This last week, the email account associated with this live journal, a dedicated email that I only use for this journal to receive comments on stories and handle business associated with this journal, was *bombed* for a lack of a better word.
I won't give the self-righteous annoyances the satisfaction of going into details, but suffice it to say that the situation was enough for me to get the police involved, and since it was then discovered that the group involved were in states outside of California, the police then contacted the FBI.
You may think you're anonymous when you do crap like this, but you're not. To the twelve of you whose IP addresses we have, if I were you, I'd back off now before the FBI shows up on your door. I haven't even started to get out the big guns yet.
To the rest of you, if you commented on a fic, sent me a private message, etc, anytime after tuesday, I did not receive it. I will make an attempt at some point in the next week to dig back through recent posts, but I can't promise I'll respond to everyone, especially if you commented on an older post.
In the mean time, I have changed the email address associated with this journal, removed my contact info from my profile and I may be doing the same with the other journal just to be safe, although so far they've left that alone.
Pardon a little slowness on my end to respond in the meantime. And be on the look out for more vamp!Nate and possible some more "cado" this week.
