Summary: Teal'c is educating Thor on earth foods. Jack joins them. The inevitable happens.

havenward for weeks now about this Thor/SG-1 crossover that's bubbling in the dark, back corners of my brain. Then I posted this time stamp meme and she poked me with a prompt for a few weeks after Thor is found by the SGC. Somehow Brain translated that into this. I apologize in advance.
"And they eat this?"
Daniel did his best not to laugh as Teal'c walked Thor through the odder of earth's favored foods. He had to admit the fork looked like a toy in the big guy's hands.
"Colonel O'Neil's favorite is the green." Teal'c said with a completely straight face as he pointed to the bowl of Jello.
"It moves."
Daniel snorted and both of them looked to him. "No. You're right. It does."
Thor shook his head, frowning at the green Jello as if trying to determine the best way to attack it. "Your food is complicated and requires too many tools. In Asgard, we eat like men. With our hands."
"Well, here we consider that uncivilized." Daniel said dryly as Jack joined them.
"Ah, Jello! My favorite. Jack reached across the table and snagged the bowl, looking up at Thor who was staring at him. "What, were you going to eat it?"
"I had not yet figured out how."
Jack grinned and dug a spoon into the Jello and lifted it to his mouth. "Course, not as much fun as Jello shots."
"Jack…" Daniel warned him, watching the way Thor's eyes lit up.
"Shots? What manner of weapon does wobbling colored goo make?"
Daniel was already standing and moving back as Jack's eyes took on the same mischievous glint. "General Hammond is going to kill you," he warned…but it was too late, Jack already had a spoonful and was preparing to launch it.
It landed perfectly between Thor's eyes and he stood up with a roar. "I accept!" His hand reached out for the red Jello in front of Teal'c, scooping up a handful and throwing it at Jack who was laughing and going for Daniel's pie.
Daniel backed away with Teal'c as the mess hall cleared and the two of them went at each other with whatever food they could get their hands on.
"Well, it's nice to see them getting along." Daniel said as they got to the door. "The last time Jack started a food fight in the mess hall, I got stuck helping him clean up the mess."
"Perhaps a strategic withdrawal is in order." Teal'c said with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm sure I have something that needs doing in my office."
"Indeed."
