phantisma | A Non-Fic Updatey thing

I'm currently working on the final chapter of "shades of tomorrow, shadows of today" while keeping a few plot bunnies at bay.

I also have written my first fic for

fandomgivesback and it was much fun! You should check the comm out and sign up to make fun fan stuff in return for donations or donate something in return for fun fan stuff!

Then again, if you want another way to use your $$ for what is a good cause (provided you consider giving me the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER to be a good cause...)

So, them Kane boys are playing in Vegas on September 16 (which is 3 days after my birthday). I already have my plane tickets and my hotel room and I'll be at the gig, regardless.

HOWEVER, today Steve announced his third Sin City Weekend will be that weekend, with Christian along for the ride. For those that don't know? This is an intimate weekend with fans, where Steve (and Chris) cooks for the winners and there are private shows and fun activities, etc.

Now, I ask you, WHAT could possibly be a better way to spend a birthday?

Only problem is, it costs big $$. The first one was a flat $3000. The second was done auction style. I imagine this one will be done that way too.

So...I ponder the possibilities. I can certainly come up with some of this fundage myself, probably even half of it if I eat rice and ramen and beans for a while.

Anyone want to give me early birthday presents in the form of $$? Little ones, big ones...every penny funneled into getting me a weekend like no other. And, since the camera goes where I go? Pictures to share.

I'm willing to work for the money too. Anyone, reasonably local, want a photo shoot (I'll do head shots, location shots for web pages/brochures/etc, fashion) for reasonable prices? Fic (any fandom, any size, almost any subject)? Icons/headers. Editing, anything from a big bang size fic to your term paper. Need some tech writing done? Policy manual for your business? Something else you know I do?

Make me an offer. It might just make my birthday something out of this world!

I don't need much out of life. But this? I could die happy when it was over.
