Summary: Wonderland isn't everything the fairy tale says, and the Hatter in this tale is maybe madder than that of the original, especially once this tale is done.

angst_bingo card. This is the second of those five prompts. Written for my second card for angst_bingo.
( It's a lot like drowning…the desperate grasping for something just out of reach, the gasping…frantic for air and getting nothing but hot, sticky, wet liquid in its place… )
