phantismaSo...here we are at three weeks after the surgery (almost). Physically, things are getting better every day. Well, aside from the cold my niece gave me. I'm going to Physical Therapy twice a week at the moment.
In less spectacular news, I have found myself needing to move. Quickly. The owners of the house we are currently renting wish to sell, and they want us out. For those who don't know, I currently share a house with my brother, his wife and two kids. The plan had been for me to move out come January or so, now that their kids are old enough to take care of themselves more. Now it looks like it's happening sooner.
So, I am looking for a one bedroom apartment or something similar in the SF Bay area, particularly from Milpitas north to Berkeley. I need a place that will let me bring my dog and my kitty. I need a place that isn't so expensive I'd need two jobs to afford it.
So, if anyone out there knows a place that's available, I'd appreciate a heads up.
My biggest hold back here is money and credit. I have lousy credit from ten years ago when I got laid off and lost everything. My more recent credit isn't bad, but the number is hard to lift once it sinks. And, money wise, things are still pretty tight. Not as bad as they were, just not up to moving expenses.
Add all of that to the need to get it handled quickly (before Wincon, which I can't bail on, since I've already paid for everything), and things are frustrating.
So, if I go kind of quiet for a while, it isn't that I don't love ya'll. I do. I just need some time to straighten stuff out.
