I am busy at work writing, but in the meantime let's have some fun!

Here's how it works. You comment here with a letter. I respond with five words that begin with that letter. You write a drabble (or more) using those words. It can be any fandom or original. Hell, it can be anything you want it to be.

Simple enough, right?

So we're clear, a drabble is 100 words. And it can be any rating from G all the way to NC-17.

Who want's to play? (And who's going to repost this so I can play too?)

I'm just finishing up a couple of big fics for challenges, and also prepping for a two week vacation in the UK, which is why I haven't been posting much.

However, I have a few days and a few spare brain cells for the next week or so...so who wants to play with me?

Let's call this "The AU Game"....

To play, comment with a fandom, an AU idea and a scene idea. I will respond with which character is what in the AU/scene, and if Brain hearkens to it, a bit of the scene as I see it unfolding.

For example, you might say Firefly, Vaudeville AU, backstage chaos; or maybe Hawaii 5-0, Superhero AU, putting on the tights

Sound like fun? You all probably know what my fandoms are, but if you give me something I don't actually know well enough, I'll let you know.

Ready, set....comment!

In this game, you get to ask 3 questions of 1 character in any story I've written, OR you get to ask 1 question of 3 characters in any story I've written, the catch is, they all have to be from the same story.

Pick a story. For big verses, you can ask questions that cover multiple chapters/whole verse or a specific chapter/scene.

Ask three questions to a single character. OR Ask one question to each of three characters. No question is off limits, however I do reserve the right to veto a question to prevent spoilers for fic to come. You will get a chance to replace the question.

I will do my best to answer in the character's voice or relay his/her message to you.

Ready?

Comment here with the name of the story/verse (links to specifics is always helpful), the name of the character/characters and the questions.

Go!

It's time for a meme. Let's see...ask me five questions

1. About writing in general.
2. About Fandom in general or a specific fandom.
3. About any specific story.
4. About any specific character.
5. About me.

And, if you wanna, tell me:

1. One thing about you I don't know.
2. A favorite memory (could include me, doesn't have to)
3. Some random bit of trivia.

When I'm working on large projects or I'm between projects I like to use prompts and other such things as sort of a palette cleanser, a way to get my Brain functioning outside the current story line, revisit old favorites, etc.

So...

Comment to this post with the name/verse of one of my characters and ask me something about them from one of these categories:

a) A detail from before we meet them in the story
b) A missing moment from the published story
c) A moment of the published story from their POV
d) A specific time stamp after the end of the story
e) Any one specific thing you want to know about the character that I haven't expounded on

I will respond with either a snippet of story, a rambling meta on character or a note that I'll get back to you on that once the character and I have had a chat. Sound like fun?

ETA: Don't be shy, ask as many as you like. *grins*
